MAX is working to ensure that No Rider is Left Behind as we make route enhancements.
If you need assistance connecting from West Routes (12, 18, & 43) or East Routes (17 & 25), please call us. We will provide complimentary service to the closest BX or Fixed Route pick-up location.

For the Route 12 (Highland), Route 18 (Fountian Heights), and Route 43 (Birmingham Zoo) MAX has partnered with Birmingham On-Demand to ensure No Rider is Left Behind. Starting May 15, 2023, Birmingham On-Demand is extending their coverage area. Riders of the 12, 18, and 43 can now contact Birmingham On-Demand for service. MAX will no longer provide fixed route service to these routes starting May 15, 2023.
